In 2026, Öykü Yanık conducted the world premiere of the new critical edition of Puccini’s Turandot, prepared with Casa Ricordi and Archivio Storico Ricordi. She won the 2025 T4T Turandot Conducting Competition in Milan the same year she reached the semi-finals of the Orchestra’s Conducting Competition and was a finalist at the La Maestra Competition at the Philharmonie de Paris.

Yanık has collaborated with choirs and orchestras such as the Leipzig Symphony Orchestra, Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra, MÁV Symphony Orchestra Budapest, Metz–Grand Est National Orchestra, Bucharest Radio Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana, Augusta Symphony Orchestra, Navigli Symphony Orchestra, Paris Mozart Orchestra, Parma Opera Choir, Eskişehir Symphony Orchestra, Bursa Regional State Symphony Orchestra, Çukurova State Symphony Orchestra, OSCoM (Orchestra Sinfonica del Conservatorio di Milano), and the Turkish State Polyphonic Choir.

She worked as assistant conductor with the Istanbul State Opera on Don Giovanni and The Barber of Seville, with Pietro Spagnoli. In 2024, she received the “Women Stars of Tomorrow” fellowship from the Istanbul Music Festival (İKSV).

Her teachers and mentors include Fabio Luisi, Gábor Takács-Nagy, Michel Tabachnik, Martin Sieghart, Georg Grün, David Reiland, Ekhart Wycik, Nicola Samale, Barbara Frittoli, Maria Pia Ionata, and Marcello Bufalini.

She is a Bärenreiter Artist and is endorsed by Rohema Conducting. Öykü Yanık is completing her Master’s degree in Orchestra Conducting at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, studying with Vittorio Parisi.
